Lent is an invitation to reflect, repent, and renew one’s commitment to living a life of faith, ultimately leading to the joyful celebration of Easter.
This Lent, consider giving yourself the gift of guided meditation to help you grow closer to God. Whether you are a beginner or have experience meditating, the benefits of meditation include stress reduction, increased self-awareness, calming negative emotions, strengthening patience, and expanding imagination.
We are grateful to parishioner Caroline Schestag, for facilitating a meditation experience with us this Lent in two ways. Morning and afternoon sessions listed below are 30 minutes long and registration is not required — feel free to drop in any or all dates.
Tuesdays – Drop in, thirty-minute sessions — @ 3:30 – 4 pm: 2/20, 2/27, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19
Thursdays – Drop in, thirty-minute sessions @ 9:15 – 9:45 am: 2/22, 2/29, 3/7, 3/14, 3/21
Evening sessions are part of a six-week series — registration is required and there is a suggested offering of $20 to cover the cost of the book that will be given to each participant. To register, please call the parish office or fill out the form below.
Tuesdays – Six week series, one hour sessions — @ 7 pm – 8 pm: 2/20, 2/27, 3/5, 3/12, 3/19. Registration is required.
All sessions will be held in Church. Dress comfortably.
