St. Cassian Feast Day
Solemn Mass when we will be celebrating the patron saint of our parish! After Mass, the celebration will continue at the park behind Buzz Aldrin School. Enjoy the yummy food, entertainment, and dunk tank!
Blessing of the Animals
There will be a blessing of animals, in honor of the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi on the Patio.
Thanksgiving Food Drive
During November, turkeys and non-perishable donations are collected and donated to those in need during this holiday season.
On the First Sunday of Advent, families are invited to make an Advent Wreath to celebrate this joyous time of year! The cost is $20 per wreath, with an additional cost for those who would like to join us for a light supper. The festivities will hold in the school gym.
Christmas Giving Tree
During Advent, our annual Giving Tree is decorated with ornaments of wish-lists of children from the Department of Child Protection and Permanency (DCP&P, formerly DYFS) and homeless youths supported by the Covenant House of NJ.
This annual fundraiser supports Saint Cassian School in the school Gym. Be one of the lucky winners of the many prizes offered!
Christmas Carol Sing
Our choir will be accompanied by an instrumental ensemble. The evening will also feature the St. Cassian School Eighth Grade Handbell Ensemble. A freewill donation is requested after the concert. Be sure to arrive early to get a good seat!
Catholic Schools Week
Starting on the last Sunday in January through Friday, St. Cassian School will be hosting tours inviting prospective students and families to visit and see all that our school has to offer.
Fathers Who Cook
Historically is a fundraiser is held on Super Bowl Saturday at St. Cassian School Gym. Enjoy good food and drink at St. Cassian’s fundraiser and taste samplings of culinary creations by talented Father.
World Marriage Day (St. Valentine’s Day)
On the Second Weekend in February, we celebrate World Marriage Day. Join us on Saturday evening as we begin our evening with Holy Mass at 5:30pm. Mass will include a blessing of married couples and wedding rings. Following Mass, we will have dinner and entertainment in the Larkin Hall. Please register for dinner by calling the parish office at 973-744-2850. The cost for dinner is $30 per couple. Seating is limited.
