Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN)

The Interfaith Hospitality Network (IHN) helps families who are homeless by giving them shelter and three meals a day through the hospitality of different churches and synagogues.


St. Cassian Church will be hosting the families during the week of February 18 through February 25.  The parish community has worked together for many years to make this outreach a success.  If you are interested in volunteering during (or to help prepare for) our host week, please sign up using the links below.

Overnight volunteers are also needed to stay from 8:30pm-7:15am to be available for any emergencies or to assist with the needs of the guests.  While an air bed and tent are provided, please bring your own sleeping bag/bedding and pillow.

Throughout the week, volunteers are needed to prepare meals to feed about 7-15 people. Cooks are also welcome share a meal with our guests and fellow volunteers.

To prepare ourselves for the arrival of our guests, we are requesting donations that can be found at your local grocery store (i.e., Shoprite) or wholesale stores (i.e., Costco).  If you are able and willing to donate essential items needed throughout the week, please sign up and drop it off in the Parish Center by Tuesday, Feb. 13.

On Wednesday, February 13 at 7pm in Larkin Hall, there will be a training and info session for volunteers who will be interacting with our guests.
